Privacy Policy of the Jester - Party games app
Last updated: March 22, 2026
1. Introduction and Data Controller
This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for the collection, processing, and protection of data of users of the Jester - Party games mobile application (hereinafter: the "App"). We care about your privacy, which is why we strive to limit data collection to the absolute minimum required for the proper functioning of the App, displaying and personalizing ads, and analyzing errors.
The Data Controller of your personal data is Progmar.
Data is processed in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR).
2. What data do we collect and why?
The App does not require you to provide direct personal data such as your name, surname, e-mail address, or phone number. However, we automatically collect technical identifiers such as: an anonymous login ID (Firebase Installation ID), an anonymous user identifier for purchase verification purposes (App User ID from RevenueCat) and, in the case of voluntary login, your Google Play Games account identifier.
We process this data for the following purposes:
- Authentication and game features (Own server / Google Play Games): To enable communication between the App and our servers (backend) and to provide access to features such as the achievement system, we use anonymous login (Firebase) or login via Google Play Games services. For this purpose, we process anonymous user identifiers or your Google display name.
- User feedback and reports (Firestore): If you decide to send us your feedback, suggestion, or report an issue with a specific question in the game, the content of this report will be saved in the cloud (Firebase Firestore). These reports are used solely to improve the game's content and may be linked to your anonymous identifier.
- Analysis and improvement of the App (Google Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics): We collect analytical data regarding the use of the App (e.g., session duration, visited screens, interactions) and detailed error reports (crash logs), which are necessary for diagnosing and fixing bugs. This information is technical and anonymized. It may include, among others:
- Device data: hardware brand and model, device state at the time of the crash (e.g., free RAM and disk space), screen orientation (portrait/landscape), and information on whether the device has been modified (rooted/jailbroken).
- Software data: operating system version (e.g., Android 16) and the exact version of our App in which the error occurred.
- Error details: exact date and time of the crash and technical logs (lines of code) indicating the cause of the error.
- Network data: anonymized IP address and approximate location (country/city) for statistical analysis purposes.
- Displaying ads (Google AdMob): The App uses advertising services provided by Google, which may process data to deliver and tailor displayed ads (personalized ads).
- Basic data: Advertising mechanisms may collect, among others, mobile advertising identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID) and information about your approximate location.
- Consent management (UMP): The collection of detailed data for personalized advertising purposes takes place strictly with your voluntary consent. To manage it, we use the certified Google UMP (User Messaging Platform).
- Time of consent and detailed information: A consent form will be displayed just before you view your first ad (which, among other things, grants access to the demo version of the game). In this form, you will find a full, detailed list of collected information, the purposes of its processing, and a list of trusted advertising partners.
- Changing preferences in Settings: Remember that consent is voluntary. You can check your privacy settings, edit them, or completely withdraw your consent at any time using the dedicated option in the App Settings.
- Payment processing (RevenueCat and Google Play Billing): The App offers optional one-time purchases (in-app purchases). The payment process is entirely handled by the Google Play store. Our App uses the RevenueCat tool to verify and grant purchased content, processing only anonymous transaction identifiers. We do not have access to your payment card or billing details.
3. Device permissions
The App may request optional permission to send Push notifications. Denying this permission does not affect the core functionality of the App. You can change this decision at any time in your device settings.
4. Third-party service providers
For the App to function, we use the services of trusted third parties that may process your data according to their own privacy policies. These include:
- Google LLC (Google Play Services, AdMob, Google Analytics, Firebase, Crashlytics, Firestore) – [Google Privacy Policy]
- RevenueCat, Inc. (purchase verification) – [RevenueCat Privacy Policy]
5. Data storage and security
Data collected by the App is processed on our servers and on the secure servers of the Firebase infrastructure (Google Cloud). We implement appropriate technical measures to protect the collected information against unauthorized access. The retention period for your data depends on its type:
- Local data (Your preferences and game saves): Stored exclusively in your device's memory. It will be permanently deleted upon uninstalling the App or manually clearing its data in the operating system settings.
- Error reports (Firebase Crashlytics): Detailed crash logs and technical device parameters are stored on Google servers for a maximum period of 90 days from the moment the error occurred, after which they are automatically deleted.
- Analytical data (Google Analytics): Anonymized data regarding events and App usage are stored for statistical purposes for a period not exceeding 14 months.
6. Your rights (including GDPR rights)
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict its processing, the right to data portability, and the right to object. Since we rely primarily on anonymous data, verifying your identity may require providing specific identifiers from the App. The simplest form of restricting data processing is:
- Uninstalling the App.
- Resetting the advertising identifier in your phone's settings.
- Withdrawing consent for personalized ads in the App Settings. If you wish to request the deletion of your data associated with an anonymous identifier or a Google Play Games account from our servers and feedback database, please contact us.
7. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy. We will inform you of any material changes via an in-app message. You can check the current version of the privacy policy and its implementation date at: https://jester-partygames.com/en/pp
